  3. After my day of people fondling my foot, a not altogether unpleasant experience, I need a glass of chardonnay

  4. I'll have a pony. And a red wine. And a beer. Anything to take the pain of this toothache and infected gum away. Wonder if someone could fondle it for me.

  5. Yikes. Get some Corsodyl SA: knocks out anything. Though not good with red wine, obvs.

  6. If I over-imbibe and fall off my crutches can I count on one of you kind souls to help me up?

  7. Clove oil SA, that's what you need.

I feel like getting drunk. The garage haven't gotten back to me regarding how fucked the car is yet. I fear it is going to be extortionate!

  13. That Corsodyl has a kind of Jagerbomb effect when mixed with wine, beer and gin. Scuse me Gloria, another round please.

  14. Sorry SA but what the hell is Corsodyl?

  20. L loves a good Gewurtztraminer Luca. A bit sweet for my tastes but drinkable.

Let's hope they win tomorrow Walter.

    SA, you still awake?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm sure you promised to bring wine Luca? I was hoping for something plump and fruity.

    As well.

  24. I think everone of us have a great evening. I am together with two American army workers in our local pub watching The game. Unforgetable night.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yup, still here. Just sorting some records out. Got a gig tomorrow night and thought I should do the records tonight and the gear tomorrow. And get it done before the Corsodyl with wine chasers kick in.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Note how I nonchalantly said 'gig'. Just playing some records at a party really.

  27. Davyh, Gewürztraminer IS a wine, but I'm sure you knew that already. Plus, according to Wikipedia, dry Gewürztraminers may also have aromas of roses, passion fruit and floral notes, and it is not uncommon to notice some spritz (fine bubbles on the inside of the glass).
SA, we all want an mp3 of your set (well, I do!)
Now I have to go, my daughter is getting restless. I have to find out something to entertain her.

  28. SA - Lots of Weatherall?

Not sure which is better Daniel Avery debut or latest Jon Hopkins, both belters

  29. Some weatherall- not sure it's going to be a Weatherall heavy kind of party. We'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fuck, you play what people want?

  31. Only Scots and non - footie fans still standing? or in George's case hopping

    ReplyDelete
  32. Luca, look for you'Re you'Re daughter. It is necassary. @.Drew: I like The Jon Hopkins more. The Rest may enjoy Mr. Wearherall what is a good choice Too.

  33. Daughter's off to bed, I'll do the same in a matter of minutes. Am I the only one around who's not interested in football? Am I the only one around who's a Sixers fan (they actually played in Manchester this very week)?
    The answer is yes, probably.
A sip of Limoncello and goodnight *drops on the floor unconscious*
